Ramayana vs Godzilla: इंडिया में डरी, लेकिन विदेशों में कहीं रामायण को चोट न पहुंचा दे 'गॉडजिला', दिवाली पर छिड़ी महाजंग

इस दिवाली सिनेमाघरों में सिर्फ पटाखे नहीं फूटने वाले, बल्कि ग्‍लोबल बॉक्‍स ऑफिस पर एक ऐसी टक्‍कर होने जा रही है जिसका अंदाजा किसी ने नहीं लगाया था. एक तरफ है भारत की सबसे महाकाय पौराणिक कथा पर बनी फिल्म 'रामायण: राइज ऑफ अ लीजेंड', जिसमें रणबीर कपूर मुख्य भूमिका में हैं. वहीं दूसरी तरफ है जापान का खूंखार मॉन्स्टर, जो 'गॉडजिला माइनस जीरो' के रूप में तबाही मचाने आ रहा है.

दोनों ही फिल्में नवंबर 5 को रिलीज होने जा रही हैं और रिलीज से ठीक पहले मेकर्स ने इनके स्पेशल स्क्रीनिग्स रखे थे. अब सोशल मीडिया, खासकर एक्स पर इन दोनों फिल्मों के अर्ली रिएक्शंस और रिव्यूज की बाढ़ आ गई है. फैंस से लेकर इंटरनेशनल क्रिटिक्स तक सब अपनी-अपनी राय दे रहे हैं. लेकिन सबसे बड़ा सवाल यह है कि इस शुरुआती रेस में कौन बाजी मार रहा है? चलिए, आपको विस्तार से बताते हैं कि क्रिटिक्स का मूड क्या कह रहा है.

रणबीर कपूर स्टारर और नितेश तिवारी के डायरेक्शन में बनी 'रामायण: राइज ऑफ अ लीजेंड' की पहली स्क्रीनिंग लॉस एंजिल्स में रखी गई थी. 30 अक्टूबर तक फिल्म के रिव्यूज पर एम्बारगो लगा था, लेकिन जैसे ही रिव्यू बाहर आए, लोगों का मिला-जुला रिस्पॉन्स देखने को मिला. अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मीडिया और क्रिटिक्स ने फिल्म के स्केल और विजन की तारीफ तो की है, लेकिन कुछ जगहों पर फिल्म थोड़ी लड़खड़ाती हुई नजर आ रही है.

Pacing: The first half is a massive banger and much stronger, but the second half loses momentum. Performances: Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi are all great. Mimi’s #Ramayana review/thoughts….will make sure no major spoilers Backstory: I am a huge huge huge RK fan but I am neither Indian nor Hindu. I have Hindu friends and have basic knowledge of Ramayana so keep that in mind since I might not notice or know too many details. Also to haters, I was raised to learn about and RESPECT different religions. So chill. Unless you have specific questions, I won’t go over the story because see above. Starting with performances, I felt both Raavan and Rama have almost equal screen time. Yash is powerful as Raavan. He’s commends attention and you end up both in awe of him and scared of him. Meanwhile, RK as Rama is calm, zen-like, and serene. While Raavan makes you anxious, when Rama is on screen, you feel a certain calm knowing he will make everything alright. Both of the performances are applause -worthy and of course I do love RK as Rama more. How can one not love Lord Rama? Sai Pallavi is a beauty and so graceful as Sita Maa. She’s delicate when she needs to be and fierce and a warrior when needed. Her chemistry with RK is very endearing and beautiful to watch. As is her chemistry with Laxman. Talking about Laxman, he provides many lighter moments and is so good. The remaining cast from Raavana’s family to Rama’s, all the sages and all are great. Music in English version is still in Hindi but most songs are not included. BGM is magical. The english dubbing is with actual voices with perfect lip syncing. The VFX/CGi looks at per with my favorite show Game of Thrones, esp the battle scenes and the scenes with various rakshas. I only had a small issue with Jatayu’s (?) conversation with end of the movie, it could have been a little better, the VFX on the bird. Overall, 8.5/10. 3 घंटे 15 मिनट की लंबाई पर क्या कहा?

रामकथा इतनी विशाल है कि इसे तीन घंटे में समेटना किसी भी डायरेक्टर के लिए आसान काम नहीं है. यही बात कुछ क्रिटिक्स ने उठाई है. फिल्म का रनटाइम 3 घंटे और 15 मिनट है, जिसकी वजह से कई क्रिटिक्स को लगा कि फिल्म जरूरत से ज्यादा भरी हुई है. एक क्रिटिक ने तो यहां तक सुझाव दे दिया कि इतनी बड़ी कहानी को किसी फिल्म में ठूंसने की बजाय HBO के 'गेम्स ऑफ थ्रोंस' जैसी कोई हाई-बजट टेलीविजन सीरीज बनानी चाहिए थी. इससे कहानी के हर पहलू को खुलकर सांस लेने का मौका मिलता. हालांकि, उन्होंने यह भी जोड़ा कि इसके बावजूद आम दर्शक इस फिल्म के भव्य कैनवास में खो सकते हैं और इसका मजा ले सकते हैं.

जापानी मॉन्स्टर का ट्विटर पर तहलका

अब बात करते हैं जापान की तरफ से आई सुनामी यानी 'गॉडजिला माइनस जीरो' की. ऑस्कर विजेता डायरेक्टर ताकाशी यामाज़ाकी की यह फिल्म 2023 में आई सुपरहिट 'गॉडजिला माइनस वन' का सीधा सीक्वल है. फिल्म का वर्ल्ड प्रीमियर न्यूयॉर्क फिल्म फेस्टिवल में हुआ था, लेकिन इस हफ्ते टोक्यो इंटरनेशनल फिल्म फेस्टिवल से पहले हुई प्रेस स्क्रीनिग्स के बाद इंटरनेट पर जो रिएक्शंस आ रहे हैं, वे होश उड़ाने वाले हैं.

#GodzillaMinusZero had a hell of a lot to live up to following Minus One, but by god it does. A totally different beast, this sequel is full of fully realised human characters you actually care about, and some utterly breathtaking kaiju action brought to life with some of the best visual effects you could see. Had the pleasure of seeing this at the BFI IMAX and Takashi Yamazaki really does make use of the larger scale with some spine-chilling moments. I never thought I'd cry at a Godzilla film yet here we are...

आपको बता दें कि 2023 में आई 'Godzilla Minus One' का बजट महज 15 मिलियन डॉलर (लगभग 125 करोड़ रुपये) था, लेकिन उसने दुनियाभर में 100 मिलियन डॉलर से ज्यादा की कमाई की और 2024 में बेस्ट विजुअल इफेक्ट्स का ऑस्कर अवार्ड भी जीता. टोहो स्टूडियोज ने 'Godzilla Minus Zero' का जो ऑफिशियल सिनॉप्सिस जारी किया है, वह भी काफी डरावना और दिलचस्प है.

अगर ग्‍लोबल लेवल पर देखें, तो अर्ली रिव्यूज के मामले में 'Godzilla Minus Zero' ने 'Ramayana' पर बढ़त बना ली है. जहां रामायण के विजुअल्स और पेसिंग को लेकर क्रिटिक्स थोड़े बंट गए हैं, वहीं गॉडज़िला को एकतरफा प्यार मिल रहा है. लेकिन भारतीय बॉक्स ऑफिस का गणित थोड़ा अलग होने वाला है. भारत में रणबीर कपूर की 'Ramayana' को लेकर जो दीवानगी है, उसे हिला पाना किसी जापानी मॉन्स्टर के बस की बात नहीं है. रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, भारत में रामायण को बिना किसी रुकावट के सोलो रिलीज का फायदा मिलेगा, क्योंकि 'Godzilla' की इंडियन रिलीज डेट को आगे खिसका दिया गया है.
