कांग्रेस की 'रॉयल दिवाली': मिठाइयों के टेबल पर सजा चुनावी एजेंडा, राहुल गांधी के घर जुटे पार्टी के दिग्गज

दिवाली का त्यौहार अक्सर अपनों से मिलने और खुशियां बांटने का मौका होता है, लेकिन जब राजनीति के गलियारों में ऐसी कोई मुलाकात होती है, तो उसका सीधा संबंध भविष्य के सियासी समीकरणों से जुड़ जाता है. इस बार कुछ ऐसा ही देखने को मिल रहा है. लोकसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष (LoP) राहुल गांधी 6 नवंबर को अपने सरकारी आवास पर ऑल इंडिया कांग्रेस कमेटी (AICC) के वरिष्ठ पदाधिकारियों, कांग्रेस वर्किंग कमेटी (CWC) के सदस्यों और सभी राज्यों के प्रभारी महासचिवों के लिए एक दिवाली मिलन समारोह आयोजित कर रहे हैं.

कांग्रेस के इतिहास में यह पहला मौका है जब राहुल गांधी इतनी बड़ी संख्या में पार्टी के शीर्ष नेताओं की मेजबानी एक साथ कर रहे हैं. इससे पहले तक केवल चुनिंदा वरिष्ठ नेता ही दिवाली के मौके पर उनसे मिलने उनके घर जाया करते थे. आधिकारिक तौर पर कांग्रेस के नेता इसे एक साधारण 'दिवाली-मिलन' कार्यक्रम बता रहे हैं. पार्टी पदाधिकारियों का कहना है कि यह सिर्फ त्यौहार की खुशियां बांटने के लिए रखा गया एक सामाजिक आयोजन है और इसके कोई खास राजनीतिक मायने नहीं निकाले जाने चाहिए.

'वोट चोरी' और SIR के खिलाफ राष्ट्रीय आंदोलन

यह दिवाली मिलन ऐसे समय में हो रहा है जब कांग्रेस और पूरा विपक्षी खेमा केंद्र सरकार के खिलाफ आक्रामक मूड में है. हाल ही में, 1 नवंबर को राजधानी दिल्ली में 'इंडी' (INDIA) गठबंधन ने SIR (एसआईआर) के जरिए कथित 'वोट चोरी' के मुद्दे पर एक विशाल रैली का आयोजन किया था. इससे ठीक एक दिन पहले गठबंधन ने एक प्रस्ताव पारित कर मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार को पद से हटाने की मांग की थी.
