Kerala Govt to sponsor Bineesh K Shaji

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala government has decided to sponsor Bineesh K Shaji, silver medal winner at the recent World School Athletic Championship in Talinn, Estonia.State sports minister M Vijayakumar said all training facilities including a foreign coach would be made available to Bineesh who had made the state proud with his achievement. Bineesh had bagged the silver in 200 metres. The minister announced the decision at a function organised here today by Thiruvananthapuram District Olympic Association to honour Bineesh. Chacko Joseph, Manager, Indian School Athletic Team, was also honoured on the occasion. Bureau Report
