Bangalore, June 17: Karan Vasudeva brought in the lone under-par card of the day -- a two-under 70 -- to jump into a four-shot lead at the half-way stage of the LG Southern India Amateur golf tournament. What helped Karan`s cause is the fact that overnight leader Moin Malak stuttered to a 10-over 82 to concede the lead while tournament favourite Rashid Khan went nine-over 81 to slump to the ninth position.
Karan, with a total of level-par 144, was ahead of the second placed Angad Cheema (148). Arshdeep Tiwana and Pawan Kumar were tied for the third place at 150 while three players – Simarjeet Singh, Gagan Verma and Abhijit Singh Chadha - shared the fifth position at 151. Bureau Report
