Open the WhatsApp application on your device and navigate to the chat where you wish to send the photo or video.
Inside the chatbox, look for the attachment button, typically depicted as a paper clip icon. Tap on it to open the attachment menu.
Within the attachment menu, you'll see various options such as Gallery, Document, Camera, etc. Select the "Document" option from the list.
Once you've chosen the Document option, you'll be directed to your device's file explorer. Browse through your documents to locate the photo or video you intend to send.
Tap on the photo or video you want to send to highlight it.
After selecting the desired photo or video, you'll find an option to send it. Tap on the "Send" button to initiate the sending process.
The sent photo or video will appear as a document in the chat. Recipients will need to download the file to view it, as it won't display directly in the chat thread.
