3 Injured In Alleged US Airstrike On Iran-Backed Militia PMF's Military Bases In Iraq
New Delhi: According to a statement released by the Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF), a coalition of Iran-allied militias in Iraq, an airstrike targeted their base. According to reports, three PMF members were injured during the attack on the Kalsu military base. Formerly a US post, the base was turned over to the Iraqi military in 2011.
This recent airstrike comes after a suspected Israeli strike in Iran the day before. However, the perpetrator of the reported attack has not been definitively identified. Unnamed officials spoke to the agency and attributed the strike to US forces.
