'Padman' Akshay Kumar to attend Salman Khan's 'Bigg Boss 11' grand finale
Padman is hitting the screens on January 25 and will be facing tough competition from Padmavat.

Pic Courtesy: TV show still New Delhi: Brushing aside all the rumours of a possible fallout—Bollywood's two big superstars Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar will be seen together on small screens soon. Yes! There are reports suggesting that Akshay will be seen visiting the sets of popular reality show Bigg Boss 11 which is hosted by Salman.
According to DNA, Akki will attend the grand finale episode of Bigg Boss 11 and promote his upcoming venture Padman. Earlier, there were reports suggesting that all's not well between Akshay and Salman after the latter pulled out of a joint production with Khiladi Kumar and Karan Johar titled.
The film in question happens to be Kesari which is based on the Battle of Saragarhi. However, Ajay Devgn too is making a film on a similar project and reportedly after this development, Sallu Bhai decided to pull out of the project while Akshay and Karan went ahead with it.
However, looks like all these were mere rumours and nothing is uncomfortable between the two superstars. The DNA report quotes a source as saying, “Yes, Akshay will be present for the grand finale and he has readily agreed to be a part of the show.”
Adding more, the source said, “Akshay and Salman have always been great buddies. They never had a fallout. They are professional enough to understand why the other one chose to do what he did. If there was remotely any tension between the two, the Bigg Boss episode would never have happened. Akshay happily agreed when the team proposed this plan during a promotional meeting.”
Padman is hitting the screens on January 25, 2018 and will be facing tough competition from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmavat.
