35 new flu cases in Delhi, total almost 3000

New Delhi: Number of positive swine flu cases in the national capital reached 2,998 after 35 people including 13 children tested positive for the virus here on Wednesday.

"A total of 2,998 cases have tested positive for swine flu virus till date. Out of this more than 90 per cent patients have been treated and discharged," Kiran Walia, Delhi Health minister said.

Walia said that till date 1,574 children have tested positive for the H1N1 virus.

So far 14 persons have succumbed to the pandemic in Delhi.
