Warmer morning in Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 24: Delhiites woke up to a sunny morning Wednesday with mercury hovering around the eight degrees Celsius mark.

The Met department recorded a minimum of 8.5 degree Celsius, one degree above normal around this time of the year.

The maximum temperature yesterday was recorded at 22.4 degree Celsius, which was one degree below the normal.

Delhi experienced the season's lowest on December 13 when the mercury plummeted to 6.7 degrees Celsius.

The Met department predicts a bright and clear sky for the day.

Though there was mist at Palam, where the Indira Gandhi International Airport is located, early in the morning but there was no affect on the schedule of flights.

Flight operations were normal at the IGI airport as the Runway Visibility Range remained above 2,000 metre, airport sources said.
