Wimbledon 2012 Day 3: Djokovic, Federer, Clijsters win; Wozniacki, Li Na crash out

Zeenews Sports Bureau Wimbledon: Novak Djokovic made light work of 20-year old American Ryan Harrsion to ease into the third round of Wimbledon to meet the winner of Benjamin Becker and Radek Stepanek. Six-time Wimbledon winner Roger Federer stormed into the third round of Wimbledon 2012 with a 6-1, 6-3, 6-2 victory over the Italian Fabio Fognini. Former World No.1 Kim Clijsters reached the third round of Wimbledon 2012 defeating Andrea Hlavackova of Czech Republic 6-3, 6-3 18th seed Frenchman Richard Gasquet also registered victory over Ruben Bemelmans of Belarus in straight sets 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 to set up a third round clash with Spainard Nicolas Almagro. No. 3 seed Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland breezed into the 3rd Round dispatching Elena Vesnina 6-2, 6-1 who had beaten Venus Wiilliams in the first round. Wimbledon 2012, day 3 saw its second upset of the day as 22-year old Tamira Paszek ousted former World No. 1 and 7th seed Caroline Wozniaki of Denmark 7-5, 6-7, 4-6 in a closely contested match. 12th seed Nicolas Almagro beat 22-year old Guillaume Rufin in a tough 4-setter 6-2, 5-7, 6-2, 6-4 to advance the third round.
