On the other hand, Swansea City midfielder Mark Gower has created more goal-scoring opportunities per game (4.39) this season than Manchester City’s Samir Nasri (4.33) and David Silva (3.69), and Chelsea’s Frank Lampard (2.94). ‘Goal Probability Added’ (GPA) is the stat many experts believe would capture how much each player’s actions over the course of his career increased the chances of his team scoring, the Daily Mail reports. The data also shows that Newcastle United striker Demba Ba has better shot-conversation rate (47.1 percent) than Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez (44.4 percent), Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero (34.6 percent) and Edin Dzeko (34.6 percent), and Bolton Wanderers’ Ivan Klasnic (42.9 per cent).
