Jack White upset with Bond theme song’s Coca-Cola debut

Washington, Sept 15: Pop star Jack White is upset that the Bond theme track, he had worked so hard on, has made its debut in a Coca Cola advert.The White Stripes band member had teamed up with Alicia Keys to compose and record the theme song for Bond flick ‘Quantum of Solace’. However, White turned red after hearing the theme song in Coca Cola advert. "Jack White was commissioned by Sony Pictures to write a theme song for the James Bond film Quantum Of Solace, not for Coca Cola. Any other use of the song is based on decisions made by others, not by Jack White,” a spokesman for Jack white was quoted as saying. "We are disappointed that you first heard the song in a co-promotion for Coke Zero, rather than in its entirety," he added. ANI
