When Varun Dhawan took Anushka Sharma for the 'longest' cycle ride

New Delhi: If you thought acting was an easy job, say no more. Varun Dhawan rode with Anushka Sharma on a bicycle for over 10 hours in this sweltering heat at Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh.

Yash Raj Films took to Twitter to share a picture from 'Sui Dhaga' in which Varun is seamlessly pedalling with Anushka on board. The two are currently shooting in Madhya Pradesh's 'Chanderi' for the film.  “Mauji takes Mamta for a cycle ride! @anushkasharma rode pillion as @varundvn cycled for close to 10 hours in the sweltering heat at Chanderi,” the post read.

Both Anushka and Varun are dressed in very simple attires. While Varun sports a moustache, Anushka is seen in an altogether different avatar sporting acolorfull saree with a 'pallu' to cover her head.

'Sui Dhaga' is the brainchild of 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' writer Sharath Katariya, who is also the director of the film is being produced by Maneesh Sharma.

In the film, Varun plays the character of a tailor and has been prepping hard for his role. The production house, in the past, shared pictures of both Varun and Anushka learning the craft of tailoring and stitching. While Varun can be seen learning to use a sewing machine, Anushka was seen fiddling with a needle and thread. 

The film is slated to release to release on September 28, 2018.
