Sania-Vesnina win Indian Wells final

Sania and Vesnina defeated Mattek-Sands and Shaughnessy 6-0, 7-5 in the doubles final.

Indian Wells: India’s Sania Mirza and Elena Vesnina of Russia defeated eighth-seeded Americans Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Meghann Shaughnessy 6-0, 7-5 to claim the doubles title of the Indian Wells WTA event on Saturday.
Sania and Vesnina had blasted past Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia and Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland 6-0, 6-4 in the semifinals late on Thursday.Mirza has now won 10 doubles titles, while Vesnina has won four. They were teaming up for just the third time in tour-level competition, reaching the quarter-finals at Dubai and Doha before claiming the title here.
