Somdev in doubles semi-finals at Singapore Challenger

Somdev Devvarman combined with Rik De Voest to script a come-from-behind.

Singapore: Asian Games gold medallist, Somdev Devvarman combined with South African Rik De Voest to
script a come-from-behind win over Dmitry Tursonov of Russia and Chinese Taipei`s Jimmy Wang and advance to the semifinal of the men`s doubles event at the Singapore ATP Challenger. Devvarman and De Voest edged out the Tursonov Wang pair 6-4, 3-6, 10-7 after trailing 5-7 in the tie break. The pair will take on second seeds Sonchai and Sonchat Ratiwatana of Thailand in the semifinals. The Thai twins scored a 7-6(5), 2-6, 10-5 win over India`s Purav Raja and Fillipino Conrad Treat Huey in the quarterfinals yesterday. Devvarman has also made it to the quartefinals of the singles event after registering a comfortable straight sets victory over Australian John Millman yesterday. PTI
