Chandhok named brand ambassador of Jaypee Sports International
Indian Formula One driver Karun Chandhok was today named brand ambassador of Jaypee Sports International (JPSI).

Silverstone: Indian Formula One driver Karun Chandhok was today named brand ambassador of Jaypee Sports International (JPSI) which is constructing the 5.14km long motor racing circuit at Greater Noida for next year`s inaugural Indian Grand Prix.
Chandhok, who races for Hispania Racing in the Formula
One circuit, will endorse Jaypee`s brands and products and his
team car will also carry the company`s logo for the rest of
the F1 season starting from the British Grand Prix here
tomorrow.
Apart from these, the Jaypee group will also have
exclusive rights to sell Hispania and Chandhok`s merchandise
in Uttar Pradesh and the National Capital Region (NCR).
"It`s a great privilege for us to have the Jaypee Group
as a partner. They have taken the bold step to bring the
Formula 1 World Championship to India next year and it`s
something I am very excited about. To be the Indian driver on
the grid for the first Indian Grand Prix next year will be
very special for me," Chandhok said in a statement.
Managing Director of JPSI Sameer Gaur said, "We are very
happy to be sponsoring Karun Chandhok in Formula 1. He is a
talented racing driver and deserves all the support that we
can provide."
Hispania Racing owner Jose Ramon Carabante said, "We
are very pleased to have a new company sponsoring us and
supporting Formula 1. And the fact that next year India is
expected to host a Formula 1 race also makes us happy."
