Top seed Sheik Abdullah of AP had things well under control as he strolled into boys` (under-16) singles semifinals of the fourth Ramesh Desai Memorial National Tennis Championship for juniors.

Mumbai: Top seed Sheik Abdullah of AP had things well under control as he strolled into boys` (under-16) singles semifinals of the fourth Ramesh Desai Memorial National Tennis Championship for juniors.
Abdullah, ranked seventh in the country, was leading 6-2, 3-0 against fifth seed Basil Khuma of Delhi when the latter complained of stomach pain and retired from the quarterfinal contest.Joining the top seed in the last four were third seed Manish Kumar (Punjab), ranked 12th, fourth seed Vishal Passi of Maharashtra (ranked 15) and 15th seed Rajanvir Singh Dharani, also of Maharashtra.Abdullah will take on Kumar while Passi will cross swords with Dharani, who is ranked 29 and ousted second seed A K Pardha Saradhi of AP in an earlier round.
