12-member Indian squad for Asian Taekwondo

Six men and as many women will represent India in the four-day 19th Senior Asian Taekwondo Championship at Astana, Kazakhstan from tomorrow.

Mumbai: Six men and as many women will represent India in the four-day 19th Senior Asian Taekwondo Championship at Astana, Kazakhstan from tomorrow.
The squad has been cleared by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, a press release from Taekwondo Federation of India said. The Squad:Men: Sunil Kumar (Haryana) - Fin weight; Surendra Bhandari (Assam) - Bantam; Chandan Lakra (Goa) - Feather; Jasvant (MP)- Light; Anand Pandia Rajan (Goa) - Welter; Sandip Kundu (Jharkhand) - Heavy; Coach: Goutam Singh Virdi.Women: Shraddha Dixit (UP) -Fly; Latika Bhandari (MP) - Bantam; Arti Kakal (MP) - Feather; Srishti Singh (UP) - Light; Lalsangzuali (Mizoram) - Welter; Srilakshmi Kamineni (Jharkhand) - Heavy; Coach: R K Haripiyari Devi.
