Mumbai: Kolkata Knight Riders owner and Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan finds himself on a sticky wicket, as irked by his ‘pro-Pakistan cricketers’ comments of late, political party Shiv Sena has decided to obstruct the screening of his next flick- My Name Is Khan, scheduled for a Feb 12 release. Shiv Sena found Shah Rukh’s stand objectionable, saying that ‘they won’t tolerate anyone praising Pakistanis.’ Shiv Sena workers also damaged posters of the movie in Thane. On numerous occasions in the last week, Shah Rukh had made no secret of his desire to see Pakistani cricketers play in the IPL. “If we had and they are made available legally, we would have loved to have them," he said. He had also lamented the snub that the Pakistani player received in the January 19 auction, saying they should have been welcomed instead. "If there was any issue, that could have been solved in a fairly, nice manner. I believe my country stands for democracy and goodness and we should invite everyone.” Infact Shah Rukh Khan’s franchisee is said to be in talks with Abdul Razzaq, which if materializes, would make the all-rounder first Pakistani in this year’s IPL. Besides Pakistanis, Shiv Sena has also threatened the Australian cricketers, in wake of attacks on Indians Down Under, saying that their players also would not be allowed to play in Mumbai. When Zeecric tried to contact Shah Rukh for response, the star was unavailable for any comments.
