Federer beats Davydenko; storms into Aus Open semis

Zeenews Bureau Melbourne: The Australian Open men’s quarterfinal gave the world a great contest between Roger Federer and Nikolay Davydenko as the former triumphed 2-6, 6-3, 6-0, 7-5 to advance to the semis of the first Grand Slam of the year. It was a 4 set encounter that was marked with long rallies and power-packed serves, in the end, Federer’s record against his Russian opponent got better by another point.
