Air India to take on favourite Mohun Bagan

Mumbai: Mohun Bagan would go favorite against an off-colour Air India in a 10th round match of the ONGC I-League football tournament at the Cooperage Ground here tomorrow. The visitors are lying fifth in the points table, having accumulated 14 points from nine matches, behind Mahindra United, Churchill Brothers, Chirag United and Dempo. A win here would help the Kolkata outfit close the gap with the top four sides and establish itself as one of the title contenders. Meanwhile, the Airmen are lying third from bottom and have five points from eight matches, without any win so far. But Air India would go all out to fetch three points from the match against Mohun Bagan, coach Yousuf Ansari said. "We will try and win three points in our home match," Ansari said. "But Soccor Velho and Vijit Shetty would not be a part of the team for tomorrow`s match," Ansari added. PTI
