38 probables named for South Asian Games

Hockey India today released the names of 38 probables for a training camp which started in Lucknow from December 29 for the preparations of next month`s South Asian Games in Dhaka.

New Delhi: Hockey India today released the names of 38 probables for a training camp which started in
Lucknow from December 29 for the preparations of next month`s South Asian Games in Dhaka. The players will train under coaches Clarence Lobo and Gundeep Kumar till the team departs on January 25 for the January 29 to February 8 event in Bangladesh. HI also released a list of 22 senior players who have started training in Pune from yesterday under chief coach Jose Brasa for the upcoming tournaments. Probables for South Asian Games: Goalkeepers: Harjeet Singh, Mrinal Chaubay, Jaswinder Singh, C Santosh Kumar. Defenders: V Raghunath, Innocent Kullu, Laxmi Karana, Manjit Kullu, Amit Rohidas, Irfan Ali. Midfielders: Belsajar Horo, Vikas Pillay, Ajitesh Roy, Senthil Kumar, Birender Lakra (Jr), Amit Prabhakar, Sunil Ekka, Eliazer Lakra, Amardeep Ekka, Virenderjit Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Jasjeet Singh, Roshan Minz. Forwards: Dharamvir Singh, Victo Singh, Pramod Kumar, Bikas Toppo, Adam Sinclair, Humza Mujtaba, Vinod Rayar, V Raja, Jai Karan, Lalit Upadhyay, Yuvraj Walmiki, Prabhdeep Singh, Satvir Singh, Mandeep Ghumman, Mohd Amir Khan.
