SC to hear Manu Sharma's bail plea on January 19
New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday posted
for January 19 the hearing on the bail plea of Manu Sharma,
sentenced for life in the Jessica Lal murder case.
A Bench of Justices P Sathasivam and H L Dattu,
however, did not entertain the submission made by senior
counsel Ram Jethmalani on the earlier rejection of Sharma's
bail.
Sharma was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Delhi
High Court, which had reversed the acquittal order passed by
the sessions court.
