Washington: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will discuss diplomatic issues, including the strategic dialogue process with India and developments in South Asia with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over a lunch meet on Tuesday, a top official said Friday.

The State Department spokesman, Ian Kelly said the Secretary of State would discuss a range of bilateral, regional and global issue in a bi-lateral meet with the Prime Minister.

"I think that regional issues will be very important, particularly since the Secretary has just come back from Afghanistan, so they’ll want to talk about issues related to South Asia," Kelly said.

"She will want to talk about the State Department's role in Strategic Dialogue with India, so we will want to get into more detail on how we carry through with that. And a whole range of diplomatic issues," he said in response to a question.

The Prime Minister arrives in Washington Sunday on a five-day visit as the First State Guest of the US President, Barack Obama.

The State Dinner is scheduled for Tuesday evening; soon after his ceremonial welcome at the White House and the first meeting between the two leaders; followed by a press conference.

First PM should have delayed his trip to US because lack of mental intellectual of Obama and if he still wants go he should go as an equal not as beggar and obidient of US . US needs the India`s middle class and Nuck and defence market to get the their economy from the gutter. He should also tell US to keep its nose of India internal affairs if US wants side with china India should look towards and Russia and France for its defence needs and should start mass producing the weapons in India with better quality control instead throwing money in US coffers. to top it of it learn to ignore the world and carry o whats best for the country and its citizens. -rudh - in a
