New Delhi: A Delhi court on Tuesday asked a person to implead multinational company Allianz as a party to a complaint lodged against industrialist and Rajya Sabha MP Rahul Bajaj for alleged showing of Jammu and Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh as part of Pakistan and China respectively on the website of his group partner Allianz.

"File fresh memo of parties after incorporating the Allianz as a party," Metropolitan Magistrate Geetanjali Goel asked complainant Sanjay Sachdeva.

The complainant, meanwhile, also submitted various documents in the court to show that Allianz and Bajaj were partners in their insurance venture here and Rahul Bajaj is the chairman of the company.

Sachdeva, a member of Delhi Pradesh National Panthers Party, has sought prosecution of Bajaj on charges of sedition on the ground that "disfigurement" of Indian map was an "anti-national" act.

Earlier, the police had filed a report saying lapse, if any, was committed by the Allianz.

Responding to the allegations, Bajaj had earlier told news agencies that it was the portal of Bajaj's insurance venture partner, Allianz, that had carried the alleged map with the discrepancy.
