Somdev drops to 124 despite good show in US Challenger event
New Delhi: Despite putting up one of his best
performances of the season, Somdev Devvarman dropped eight
places to 124th in the ATP rankings issued today.
Somdev reached the final of the Charlottesville
Challenger event where he lost to Kevin Kim on Sunday.
Prakash Amritraj though jumped 19 places to 204.
In the doubles list, Leander Paes (8) and Mahesh Bhupathi
(7) had their rankings unchanged.
In the WTA list, Sania Mirza also found her singles
ranking unchanged at 58th but gained a place to be 37th in
doubles.
