Arunachal cabinet: Dabi gets Home, Finance goes to Sena

Itanagar: The Home and Finance departments in
Arunachal Pradesh went to two former speakers Tako Dabi and
Satong Sena respectively in the allocation of portfolios by
Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu on Saturday.
Dabi replaced Jarbom Gamlin, who gets Parliamentary
Affairs and Power (Electrical).
Sena, one of the four new faces in the ministry, replaced
Kaliko Pul, who held the Finance portfolio for a long time.
Pul gets Rural Works department and Tax and Excise.
Bosiram Siram, another new face, gets Education
portfolio.
Nabam Tuki, who is also the state Congress chief,
retained PWD and Urban Development.
Other ministers are Chowna Mein (Public Health
Engineering), Tanga Byaling (Health), Atum Welly (Water
Resources Development), Takar Marde (Rural Development and
Panchayat) and H Ngandam (Horticulture).

Portfolios, which were not allocated, have been retained
by the Chief Minister.
Khandu, who led the Congress to a two-thirds majority in
the October 13 state assembly polls, took oath on October 25
to start his second stint and expanded his ministry on
November 2 when 11 ministers were inducted.
