Abscoding history-sheeter arrested
Kolhapur: Kolhapur police have arrested
Prashant Shinde, a history-sheeter who after going on a 60-day
parole was absconding.
According to the District Superintendent Police Yashasvi
Yadav Shinde has at least 14 serious criminal cases including
murder.
Prashant was undergoing life imprisonment since June
2005. He came out on parole on May 28 as his father was not
well.
Acting on a tipoff that Prashant was coming from Belgaum
to Kolhapur through Tavera Car, police laid a trap near
Temblai Railway Gate and arrested him yesterday evening.
