Auraiya murder case: HC to hear Hoshiyar's bail plea next week
Lucknow: The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High
Court would hear next week the bail application of Hoshiyar
Singh, an accused in the infamous Auraiya engineer murder
case.
Justice R M Chauhan passed the order on the bail
application of Singh, the then Station Officer of Dibiyapur
police station where senior PWD engineer Manoj Kumar Gupta was
murdered on the night of December 23, 2008.
After the murder, Singh was absconding for months and had
surrendered later.
The court provided a week's time to the state counsel for
filing the reply on Singh's bail application.
BSP MLA Shekhar Tewari, his wife Vibha Tewari and nine
others are accused in the murder case.
