Rugby India to play in Singapore Club 7s, Cobra 10s
Indian Rugby team showed promise in the recently held Asian 7s super series and skipper Nasser Hussain is hoping his side would put up a good show at the Singapore Cricket Club7s and Cobra 10s.

New Delhi: Indian Rugby team showed promise in the recently held Asian 7s super series and skipper Nasser Hussain is hoping his side would put up a good show at the Singapore Cricket Club7s and Cobra 10s starting next week.
The 16-member team will participate in Singapore Club 7s from November 7 to 8 and Cobra 10s from November 14 to 15.
“It has been a hectic schedule for the team and we have played some of the top class teams in last few months. This has definitely given us the confidence to perform at the highest level,” said Hussain.“We look forward to these series of events and hope to give the Rugby enthusiast in the country a chance to cheer for,” Hussain added.A five member experts team including coaches Hendre Marnitz and Norman Laker, the team physiotherapist Sandeep Choudhari, Manas Kumar Jena and the team manager and analyst Kim Davey will accompany the Indian squad.
The team includes Charanjit Singh, Sukhdeep Singh, Surinder Singh, Hemanth Kumar, Dhananjay Kumar Prasad, Rohit Singh Sivach, Amit Lochab, Gautam Dagar, Rohaan Sethna, Sandeep Singh, Pritom Roy, Thimmaiah Madanda, Deepak Dagar, Alagesan Sendil Kumar and Venkatesan Arul.
