Congress has no development plan in HP: Dhumal

Shimla: Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal
on Tuesday claimed the Congress is divided in Himachal Pradesh and
the opposition party has no plan for development in the state
where the bypolls to two assembly seats are to be held on
November seven.
Congress leaders who are fighting among themselves have
no time for the development of the state, Dhumal alleged,
while campaigning for BJP candidate Khushi Ram Balnatah from
Rohroo assembly seat.
"The Congress neither has any programme nor any agenda
for the progress of the state," he said.
The hill state has suffered a lot due to "misrule" of the
past Congress governments, he said and claimed his government,
in two years of rule, has taken the tiny Himalayan state to
the path of development.

Taking a dig at Union Steel Minister Virbhadra Singh, the
CM charged his predecessor (Singh), who represented Rohroo for
19 years continuously before moving to central politics, with
neglecting its development.
"Roads remained in poor condition and interest of the
horticulturists was ignored all these years," he said.
