Amar Singh for probe into relations between UP govt, pvt firm
New Delhi: Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh,
in a letter to Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, has sought a
probe into the relations between Mayawati government and a
private company.
In the letter to Mukherjee, the SP leader referred to
media reports and said there was a lot of media speculation
regarding the similarity of pattern in favouring government
contracts between UP and Jharkhand.
Singh said the Income Tax department and Enforcement
Directorate authorities had raided the regional office of the
company in Lucknow on November 1.
