Injured midfielder Obi Mikel in Nigeria squad

London: Chelsea's injured midfielder John Obi Mikel has been included in his Nigeria's 23-man squad for their final World Cup qualifier away to Kenya on Nov. 14.

Nigeria trail Tunisia by two points in their group and must win in Nairobi to stand any chance of qualifying.

Obi Mikel, who last played for Chelsea at the end of September, has an ankle injury and was not included in the club's squad for Tuesday's UEFA Champions League tie against Atletico Madrid.

Nigeria coach Shaibu Amodu has recalled Russian-based defender Chidi Odiah and Brugge striker Joseph Akpala to the squad released by the country's football association.
