India should not be apprehensive about China visit: Prachanda

Kathmandu: Stating that great relations
between Nepal and India cannot be broken by visit of any
leader to any country, Maoist chairman Prachanda has asked New
Delhi not to be apprehensive about his recent tour to China.

broken by visit of any Nepali or Indian leader to any country,
Prachanda told senior Indian National Congress leader
Dhirendra Pratap during their meeting Friday.
During their meeting, Prachanda said that both India
and Nepal are inseparable and nobody should suspect his moves
aimed at strengthening relations with neighbouring countries
in South Asia, sources said
Prachanda told the Indian leader not to doubt about
his intention in view of his recent visit to China.
Pratap, who arrived here yesterday, also met President
Ram Baran Yadav and discussed the current political situation
and the ongoing peace process of Nepal.

Prachanda said that his three daughters are married in
India (Darjeeling, Punjab and Siliguri), and how can he think
or even dream of breaking relations with India.
