Feroz Ali Mollah takes lead in Digboi
Digboi: Kolkata's Feroz Ali Mollah posted a
five under 67 to grab the lead on the opening day of the
IndianOil XtraPremium Masters Golf here today.
The 39-year-old Mollah, currently placed 24th on the
Aircel-PGTI Order of Merit, made an fine recovery despite
beginning his round with a double bogey on the 10th.
Mukesh Kumar shot four under 68 to be hot on Feroz's
heels in second place at the scenic Digboi Golf Links.
Ranjit Singh Rathore, Amardip Sinh Malik, Anirudh Goyal,
Vinod Kumar and Shankar Das are all in tied third place with
identical scores of three under 69.
Shamim Khan and Gaurav Pratap Singh are a further stroke
behind in tied eighth position.
