Lohan in sole lead at LG Chandigarh Open
Chandigarh: A bee-attack in the morning
could not distract Abhinav Lohan's concentration as he
returned the best card of the week, a three-under 69, to get
in front after the third round of Chandigarh Open here today.
Play was held up briefly due to the bee attack but it was
Lohan who was making the buzz as he holds a three-shot lead
going into the final round tomorrow with a tournament total of
four-over 220 at the par-72 Chandigarh Golf Club.
The two leaders after the first round, Rahul Bajaj and
Abhijit Chadha, were placed second and will play with Lohan in
the leadergroup tomorrow. Bajaj carded a round of two-under 70
while Chadha shot 75 today.
Gagan Verma climbed to the top place early on in the
third round but lost a few shots later and a double bogey on
the final hole put him at eight-over 224.
Local lad Aman Guron shared fifth spot with Gagan after
playing a round of level-par 72 today.
