Mumbai, June 18: Just days after maintaining his stance of having consensual sex with his housemaid to finally confessing raping his eighteen year old domestic servant at his Mumbai residence on Sunday afternoon, Bollywood star Shiney is all set to undergo a DNA test which is expected to provide further lead in the case.

According to the latest news, Mumbai police on Tuesday obtained the school certificate of the housemaid to certify her age (twenty-yrs-old). Nevertheless, police is not taking any chances and will be going forth with fresh age determination test on Thursday.

With the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) at Kalina already receiving the vaginal smears and the blood samples of the victim along with other evidences from Shiney’s home, FSL has started retrieving semen samples of the actor from the evidences collected from the actor’s residence to see whether the blood sample matches.

According to the MV Garad, the state forensic director, ''We have started the process of retrieving any semen stains from items collected from the actor's house and it will take a week to complete the process.''

With Shiney’s three-day custody ending on Thursday, public prosecutor SS Kasthure said he might ask for the extension of Shiney’s custody, as there are ample evidences to prove the actor guilty. SS Kasthure maintained that Rekha mausi, the lady who got the maid the work at Shiney’s house, had asked the girl not work as the girl was not well.

After lodging a formal complaint against Shiney Ahuja at Oshiwara police station on Sunday, the actor had been sent to police remand till 18th June under the order issued by Andheri Court. The victim was sent to the Nagpada Police Hospital for medical assessment.

Earlier, the actor confessed his crime by saying, “The maid resisted but I forced her into it. I told her that she should stay mum. I was confident that she would not tell anyone of the incident and I was ready to give her whatever she wanted to make sure that she would keep quite. I have made a grave mistake."

However, Shiney’s wife Anupam has shown unflinching faith in her husband and ssaid that he is being framed as, “It is hard to believe the reports that come up with new version everyday. It’s a 100 percent frame up. I do not know the reason or who did it but I know that he is innocent. I have been with him for the past 15 years, he is a gentleman. He doesn’t smoke or drink or goes to parties. He is not capable of doing such a crime. He is my man. I am proud of being Mrs Shiney Ahuja.”
