Hong Kong, July 30: Ryan Babel and Roy Makaay each scored late goals Wednesday to give the Netherlands a 2-0 win over Cameroon in men's football at a four-nation warm-up tournament for the Beijing Olympics. Babel took a pass from Makaay at the top of the penalty box and scored from close range in the 87th minute to give the Dutch the lead.

The Liverpool winger, who came on as a substitute in the second half, then set up Makaay in injury time. Cameroon's best chance came from Marc Mboua's attempt from near the edge of the goal box, which went wide.

Netherlands midfielder Royston Drenthe was knocked down by Antonio Ghomsis in the first half, but the Real Madrid player returned to the game after hobbling to the sidelines. The Netherlands will play Ivory Coast on Saturday, while Cameroon takes on the United States.

The Americans and Ivorians drew 0-0 in an earlier match.
