Mumbai, July 14: There is some news for people who called SRK ‘a shrewd businessman’ as the actor has made up his mind to leave everyone behind when it comes to the business of Bollywood. The King Khan’s ‘Red Chillies Entertainment’ has entered into a partnership with close associate Rajiv Shukla’s ‘Bag Films’ to venture into providing television content and exploring reality and drama based shows on Shukla’s entertainment channel ‘E24’.

According to reports, SRK is all set to seal a deal with Shukla’s wife, Anuradha Prasad who is the chief of ‘Bag Films’. The superstar is apparently planning to produce not just films but also TV shows. SRK, who has himself dabbled with the medium over the last few years, has learnt a lot about the dynamics of how television works and wants to apply the knowledge into work. It is learnt that the Shuklas, who are very close to SRK convinced him to venture into TV production.

Industry insiders are also not denying the possibility of SRK himself being a part of his TV productions.

Shah Rukh and Gauri have reportedly invested money and acquired a 10 per cent stake in BAG’s ‘Glamour’ already and are working towards making their association with BAG stronger.

Going by the success of SRK’s previous ventures, it won’t be hasty to call SRK, the King of TV too. Guess Ekta Kapoor’s finally got some competition. And thank god for that! Phew…
