Mumbai, June 24: There has been a lot of speculations regarding the whereabouts of Gracy Singh - the actress, who came into limelight for big ticket debut in Aamir Khan-starrer 'Lagaan' in 2001 and then after a few films, turned recluse. Cine-goers wondered about the disappearance of the actress with the girl-next-door appeal.

Well, we have managed to find out what the lady is up to. Gracy, who has been keeping a low profile since her 2003 hits 'Munnabhai MBBS' and ‘Gangajal’, is all set to grace the big screen once again. She will feature in two upcoming films -- action flick 'Deshdrohi' and 'Aseema', which is based on an award-winning Oriya novel.

On being asked about her reclusive behaviour, she says, "I was waiting for the right kind of roles to come my way. Or, you may even say that I was a little laid back.”

Gracy sounds excited about her upcoming projects. She says, "I have finished shooting for 'Deshdrohi; in which I am doing an action role for the first time. I went through many rehearsals with fight masters for the same." But isn't 'action' a genre that is very unlikely of her? "That's the beauty of it. Being an actor one gets to live many lives in one life, and that's something that excites me a lot."

Talking about ‘Aseema’, in which she is playing the lead in the film and is cast opposite Kamal Khan she says enthusiastically, "I have done a lot of stunts, and I enjoyed preparing for them too."

'Aseema,' in which she plays the title role, is about a girl's journey in life. "She belongs to a rich family and her upbringing never lets her get the feel of the real world. But, she realises what life is all about after she gets married. There is a beautiful love angle to it, and Aseem Merchant is cast opposite me," Gracy chirps.
