Mumbai, May 06: It is often rued that cricket is the only sport that rules the psyche of the Indian masses. All those in support of this theory were made to realise their folly as ‘The Great Khali’ touched his home soil after proving his prowess in the American wrestling ring. Among the millions of fans he had worldwide, he found a truly special fan in the form of cricket maestro Sachin Tendulkar.

Tendulkar incidentally, is a role model of the burly wrestler. Not only Sachin but his entire family is a fan of the Indian wrestler who has in the past beaten wrestling greats like ‘Undertaker’ and ‘John Cena’.

The meeting between the two brought out these aspects to the helm and Tendulkar also invited Khali to watch a T20 match during his stay in the country. It was also told that his son is also a fan of Khali and roots for him every time he fights.
