Washington, July 18: Pop star Christina Aguilera has leapt to the defence of fellow singer Britney Spears' parenting skills.

The ‘Dirrty’ singer, who is reportedly expecting her first child with husband Jordan Bratman, recently sympathised with the ‘Toxic’ singer by saying that she is a wonderful mother.

"Britney is a good person and a good mom,” Contactmusic quoted Aguilera, as saying.

Though Aguilera claimed that the pressures of childhood fame have had adverse effects on her pal Spears, she insisted that the troubled singer is not a bad parent.

“She's been under so much pressure since she was a child. I don't think any of us should judge her or jump to conclusions. She loves her boys and they're turning out great,” she said.
