Washington, May 17: Pop singer Britney Spears refused to visit her sick mother, after the latter was admitted in the hospital for pneumonia earlier this month.
The singer has not been talking terms with her mum, Lynne, whom she was really close to, after she asked Britney to give up her wild partying habits.
Lynne also joined hands with Britney’s former hubby, Kevin Federline, to force her to check into rehab.
The Toxic singer, who used to make numerous phone calls a day to talk to her mum, did not wish her even on Mother’s Day.
“Britney has cut off all communication with her mom. She’s gone from calling Lynne ten times a day to flat-out refusing to speak to her,” Hollywoodrag quoted a pal, as telling National Enquirer.
When the 25-year-old was asked to give her mum a call, she replied is too busy because she has her ‘own kids’.
An insider said that Spears feels really betrayed.
