New York, Dec 12: Paris Hilton may be ecstatic about getting back with her Greek beau Stavros Niarchos, but there are two people who are not smiling at all – his parents.

It seems that Stavros’ parents Philippe and Victoria Niarchos are not too happy with their son’s rekindled romance, and have no intention of welcoming the Hilton hotel heiress into their family.

A source revealed that the couple had snubbed the ‘Stars Are Blind’ singer when she had followed them to Hawaii in 2005 when she was still dating Stavros.

And now that the Paris is back with her Greek beau, they are determined to give her the cold shoulder once again, for they think that she happens to be “tacky”.

"They refused to meet her last year when Paris and Stavros had dated for a while. Paris even followed him and his family to Hawaii, where they go every New Year's, and they still wouldn't meet her. They think she's tacky," the New York Post quoted the source, as saying.

As it turns out, Paris is not the only one having a hard time getting the approval of her beau’s parents, for little sister Nicky is also going through the same experience with her boyfriend David Katzenberg’s family.

A family pal revealed that David’s dad Jeffrey Katzenberg, the former Disney exec who co-founded DreamWorks, deems the Hiltons to be “lowbrow”, and insists that his son should only be “dating around” at this time and not looking to get serious.
