New York, Nov 29: US Embassy officials have reportedly "strongly suggested" the Bush twins to cut short their trip to Buenos Aires and leave Argentina because of alleged security issues.

President Bush's twin daughters, Jenna and Barbara, have stayed on, celebrating their 25th birthday over the Thanksgiving weekend, and producing even more tabloid gossips about their alleged activities.

According to ABC, media coverage of the twins' antics have upstaged publicity plans for the new U.S. Ambassador Anthony Wayne, who had only recently arrived in the country.

But while the embassy called the report "false," the White House hasn't responded to requests for comment.

"The embassy welcomes the visit and has provided close support and cooperation," The New York Daily News quoted the embassy, as saying in a statement released to the media.

The headlines dominating TV and newspaper coverage in Argentina involve the theft of Barbara Bush's purse, including her phone and credit cards. One tabloid headline also had the twins running naked in the hallway of their hotel, a report the hotel staff denied.

However despite U.S. embassy encouraging the two girls to cut their stay short, the First Twins are said to have ignored the advice, and seem adamant on sticking to their original itinerary that marks their stay in Buenos Aires till Thursday (Nov 30).
