Washington, Nov 19: The James Bond franchise may have returned this week without Pierce Brosnan, but it seems the former 007 can't get enough of playing a spy.

The ‘Matador’ actor is reportedly lined up to star in a new spy franchise called ‘Spy vs. Stu’, but unfortunately, it's a comedy.

Keith Mitchell and Allie Dvorin wrote the original script about a guy named Stu who plans to propose to his girlfriend on an island vacation, only to get unexpected competition from a super spy (Brosnan) who just finished saving the world, reports Hollywood Reporter.

The 53-year-old played Bond on four occasions before being replaced by Daniel Craig in new 007 movie ‘Casino Royale’.
