Rajinikanth has paid a heartfelt tribute to actor G Marimuthu, who was seen with the superstar in 'Jailer'. "Marimuth is a wonderful person. His death shocked me. My heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family," Rajinikanth wrote on X. Marimuthu passed away due to cardiac arrest on Friday morning. He was 57.

Entertainment Update: Nicki Minaj To Perform At 2023 MTV VMAs

American rapper Nicki Minaj will perform at MTV’s 2023 Video Music Awards. As per The Hollywood Reporter, Minaj, who is nominated for six VMAs this year, will perform her new single "Last Time I Saw You" as well as announce this year’s performers, presenters and winners. She will also serve as emcee at the award ceremony.

Bollywood News: Pulkit Samrat Speaks On Ali Fazal's Absence From Fukrey 3

The trailer of ‘Fukrey 3' was dropped recently and the makers have been receiving overwhelming responses and appreciation from the audience. Actor Ali Fazal, who appeared in the first two instalments of the hit franchise, will not be seen in the third instalment. Reacting to Ali's absence from the film, actor Pulkit Samrat told ANI, "We actually miss him a lot. We have a lot of fun with him during the promotions or even during the shoot. He also gives very interesting inputs, but unfortunately due to his dates and time he will not be seen in Part 3, but who knows, he might be in Part 4."

Singer Rihanna and rapper A$AP Rocky's new baby's name has finally been revealed.The 35-year-old hitmaker welcomed a second baby boy at the start of August with her rapper boyfriend A$AP Rocky, reports ‘Mirror.co.uk’. She revealed that she was expecting baby number two during her performance at the Super Bowl half-time show in February. The loved-up couple are said to have named their son Riot Rose Mayers, according to a birth certificate obtained by The Blast. And while the inspiration behind the alleged name of the couple's second-born child has not been revealed, A$AP did happen to release a song called ‘Riot’ this year.

Actor Varun Dhawan treated himself with a pizza as a cheat meal. The actor shared a video featuring his himself and wife Natasha Dalal. In the video, the actor revealed how important it is to reward oneself by having pizza. And ends up goofing up while eating a slice of pizza, which left his wife and other members at the table burst into laughter. National Award-winning director Vishal Bhardwaj is set to come up with the much-awaited web series 'Charlie Chopra.' The series will begin streaming on Sony Live from September 27. Vishal took to Instagram to unveil the trailer of the series. Renowned director-actor G Marimuthu passed away on Friday due to cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Chennai. He died of cardiac arrest today around 8:30 a.m at a private hospital in the city. Directed by Atlee, Jawan has had an amazing impact at the box office on the first day of its release. It boasts a formidable female ensemble, including talents like Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Ridhi Dogra, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya among others. Ridhi Dogra takes on the role of Kaveri Amma, Shah Rukh's adoptive mother. As much as her character is being loved amongst the netizens, her character has also ignited a Twitter meme frenzy. 

Interestingly, Ridhi Dogra's portrayal of Kaveri Amma in Jawan led fans to draw parallels with the same character's name in Shah Rukh's 2004 film Swades, where Kaveri Amma was masterfully portrayed by veteran actress Kishori Ballal.

Jawan Director Atlee Visits Cinema Halls

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited action thriller film ‘Jawan’ has finally hit the theatres today. The film has been getting a massive response from all the fans as well as the critics.
On Thursday, Director Atlee himself visited a theatre to see the fans’ reactions to ‘Jawan’. The director was papped outside the Gaiety Galaxy theatre in Mumbai. Several pictures and videos of the director visiting the theatre went viral on social media. He was seen wearing a red sweatshirt paired with black trousers and was seen greeting the shutterbugs with joined hands.
