New Delhi: There seems to be no end in Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's woes related to the infamous 2002 hit-and-run case. Although, the actor was granted a big relief by the Bombay High Court by quashing all the charges against him, the Maharashtra government had filed a fresh appeal in Supreme Court.

A few days back, Salman had even filed a caveat appeal in the court against it. Latest reports suggest that the SC will continue the hearing on appeal of Maharashtra government on February 12, 2016.

On December 10 last year, Salman was given a clean chit in the case with the court observing that the main witness was 'wholly unreliable' and that there were discrepancies in the case.

The actor is accused of driving a car under the influence of alcohol and killing one and injuring four others in Bandra, Mumbai, in 2002.
