New Delhi: Batting great Virender Sehwag was one of the first persons to wish Prime Minister Narendra Modi a very happy birthday on Saturday.

Sehwag took to micro-blogging site Twitter to convey his heartfelt gratitude to an unrivaled leader, whose "humility, time management, oratory skills, detailing & enthusiasm defies age" and is "inspiring".

The former India opener also prayed for Modi's health, and wished he "may get support" from "colleagues and countrymen in making India a superpower."

Modi turns 66 today, and on his birthday, people can directly greet him using a special section of the Narendra Modi App.

According to the sources, people who have worked with the Prime Minister have shared personal anecdotes which highlight his "qualities of leadership, attention to minute details and of being a good listener".

Some have written to him, appreciating how government's flagship schemes like Swacch Bharat, Make-in-India, Beti- Bachao Beti-Padhao, etc are driving an "unprecedented change" in India, the sources said.
