We are back for the second essay.

... THE RUN CHASE ...

Right then, the game is nicely poised at the halfway mark. Mumbai will be confident enough to gun down this total and they have the resources to get over the line. On the other hand, Kolkata will be looking to make the new ball count and will be on the hunt for early inroads. Back in a bit for what should be an interesting second half of the game.

Hardik Pandya will be pleased with his side's bowling effort given the batting might of Kolkata. Considering that the surface was under covers, Mumbai had a real shot of using the moisture to get rid of the explosive Kolkata openers. However, Mumbai will likely be content with the current state of affairs and the behaviour of the ball thus far.
